My personal motto.

I have had this poster since law school, it came from a calendar I received as a gift. I hung it at my assigned study desk in law school, and since then it has found residence with me at the various houses I have lived in. Currently it hangs in my laundry/sewing room.

I love the message. So often in life we get hung up on wanting to change things that are not within our control. Our job is to realize what we can control, which quite frankly is very little, and set aside those things and people that are beyond our ability to control. This poster reminds me to look forward at the things that lay ahead, and not what is in the past.

After all the road ahead is can be filled with new paths, new people and new friends, all awaiting our arrival.
