An Explosion.

The Legos have exploded, specifically in my basement. For the last year and a half Legos were on the "banned" list due to Katie's inability to keep anything small out of her mouth. Well Katie has become less orally fixated, so Legos have been able to return to toy rotation. About every six weeks the kids BEG to play with the Legos. I get them out, let them make the hugest mess possible for 3-4 days and then the Legos get picked up and put away.
The economy of Legos creates demand because there is a limit chance to play with them, hence increasing the value of services I can extort from my children in order to agree to get the Legos out. Who says ECON 110 at BYU has no real world application?
