Recently our neighbors, the Jacksons, went out of town for an extended vacation. Sue always asks my kids to watch the house, and bring in the mail every day, and in general just check on things. The kids love doing it, and they earn a little extra spending money.
Due to the length of their recent trip Sue requested that we make the house looked lived in. Happy to oblige. The Jackson compound is a sports dream. Every night after dinner the kids would BEG to go to their house, just to play with the Jackson's toys.
First it was off to the tennis court, not for a rousing game of tennis, but rather a rousing game of train. Hummm....I'll bet you can't figure out whose idea that was??? Good thing about train, the kids run around the tennis court pretending to be a trains, so it's exercise and it wears them out.
Then its on to air hockey.
Finally the indoor basketball court, where rather than play basketball, we hit tennis balls off the wall. (That poor racket is nearly as big as Katie!)

Nice house...do they have any straight single sons around my age?!? My husband would understand! ;-) Just kidding!!!!
Glad to see that you all enjoyed the house. It's been a great place to raise our 5 sons and daughter! You and the kids are welcome ANYTIME!
