Spring????

It was a cold day on Sunday. We awoke to temperatures below 30 degrees, blowing wind and falling snow. That however did not dampen our spring spirits. We decided to dress as if it were a balmy 60 degrees with the warm sun falling on our faces. We even threw caution to the wind and did not wear our coats! That will teach mother nature revisit winter at the end of March.

As I looked around the chapel on Sunday during sacramenting, I noticed many in dark colors, black and browns to be precise, reflecting the weather and the depression that accompanies a cold spring storm that is more appropriate for January. But on one bench, about 3/4 of the way toward the back of the chapel was a bring burst of spring, reflecting the hope of better weather.
