Don't sharp objects go in small holes?

Every the curious child, Katie decided to see what would happen if a chopstick was inserted into her ear as opposed to her mouth. The result was screaming, blood and a trip to the doctor's office. Good news no visible significant damage, but hard to know for sure, due to amount of blood. Two weeks we will be returning for follow up, and hopefuly Katie has now learned to keep sharp objects out of small holes.
