RSV in June?!?

Katie was in the hospital for nearly a week. Apparently she didn't realize that RSV season ends in June. She was the only baby in the pediatric section and she had great nurses. She's all better now and we're happy to have her home. Her appetite is making up for several days without food.

Here is Tiffany, Mark and Katie at the hospital. This is the closest that Mark has gotten to his baby sister. He thinks that if he ignores her she will go away!

Four Days Old

Here's Katie, four days old, just after her first bath at home. Katie is doing well, although she likes to sleep during the day and stay up from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. We're going to work on that issue.

Kate Lee Vincent was born at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Tiffany went into a C-section and did very well. The baby was transverse, so it was very hard for the doctor to get her out. She came out feet first, and the doctor had to spend several additional minutes getting her shoulders and head out. She weighed 8 lbs. 13 oz. and measured 19 1/2 inches.

We're very excited. She is nearly identical to Lauren's newborn pictures and since we think Lauren's turned out to be cute, we're very happy.

Lauren is also very happy about being a big sister. Here are a couple of pictures.
